Overview

Majestic Pizza, nestled in the bustling heart of New York City near the World Trade Center, stands as a true emblem of classic American pizzeria culture. This small yet vibrant spot offers a genuine slice of New York style pizza, celebrated for its thin, crispy crust, generous cheese, and balanced tomato sauce—a combination that defines the city’s iconic flavor. It’s the kind of place that pizza lovers seek out for its authentic taste and straightforward approach.

The menu, while compact, caters well to those craving more than just pizza. Their calzones, stuffed with savory fillings like chicken parmigiana and sausage, provide hearty alternatives that maintain the rich, homemade vibe. If a sandwich is more your style, their hero options deliver satisfying layers of classic Italian-American flavors, such as meatball and eggplant parmigiana. These offerings reflect the brand’s commitment to serving comfort food that is both fresh and fulfilling.

Space is undeniably limited—Majestic Pizza’s intimate setting can host only a handful of guests at a time. This creates a cozy, almost neighborhood joint atmosphere, favored by both locals and visitors looking for that genuine NYC pizza experience. This small scale adds to the charm, reinforcing a sense of authenticity and tradition.

The staff’s professionalism stands out amid the fast-paced environment of downtown Manhattan. According to patrons, they handle hiccups with dignity and warmth, adding to the welcoming experience. The establishment’s real draw includes not just the food but the atmosphere, where customers can savor large, flavorful slices without pretense.

Majestic Pizza is ideal for anyone drawn to American-style comfort food in a setting that reflects the pulse of New York City. Whether you’re a traveler chasing iconic local flavors or a resident wanting a no-nonsense slice, this pizzeria remains a top choice. It delivers value, quality, and a taste of New York’s enduring pizza heritage in every bite.

This is a small place but has plenty of character! We got lucky with grabbing a couple of seats! The slices were huge and the pizza was nice! It’s good value for money for what you get! Some lady did try to steal their tip jar whilst we were there, so not sure if that’s a reflection of the area or just what can happen in NY. The staff luckily handled it with dignity, maintaining their professionalism whilst standing firm which we were impressed with.

Came from Toronto looking for great New York Style pizza and this place hit the spot. Thin, cheesy, and incredibly fresh. Great pizza! Be warned though, the location is tiny with only a couple of small tables.

Any time I ever get to NYC and head down to the World Trade Center area, I go to Majestic to get a slice of pepperoni pizza. They never disappoint as they truly have the true NY pizza down pat! Lots of cheese and oil and plenty of flavor. It’s been 7 years since my last visit and over the 4th I got to return and enjoy a slice again. My clothes weren’t happy as I spilled some oil on them but my taste buds certainly were!!!

Pizza, average. If your visiting and want a NY pizza that screams NY I had better luck with Picasso's Pizza the night prior. Visiting from another state and the pizza reminded me of Sbarros Mall pizza. Not bad, but good pizza is around the corner.

Very busy pizza small place at lunch hour eventhough it doesn't look like much from the outside. Short waiting time until your pizza is reheated and it's a first order then pay system. Different pizza's available but also calzone's. First time in my life eating a calzone. Their calzone is salty and very cheese and so good. As a beginner I only asked for the calzone, but luckilly the pizza makers (you sensse that they are in the business for a long time) gave me a little jar of salsa too. That's the way to eat calzone. Cheap good food.
